Frequently Asked Questions

Helpful answers before you enquire.

How long does a security door installation take?+

Most single-door installations are completed within a few hours once the door is on site. We’ll confirm timing when your order is scheduled.

Can you match my existing door colour?+

Yes. Most security doors are available in a wide range of powder-coat finishes, and we can match common architectural colours during specification.

What’s the difference between stainless and aluminium mesh?+

Stainless mesh offers a higher strength rating and is a common choice for primary entries. Aluminium mesh is lighter, more affordable and well suited to secondary doors and insect protection.

Do security doors reduce airflow?+

No. A well-fitted screen door allows fresh air through while keeping the main door secured. Many customers use the security door as the everyday closed door in warmer months.

Are your doors suitable for rental properties?+

Yes. We work with owner-occupiers, landlords and property managers, and can provide documentation and standard finishes suited to rental portfolios.

Do you offer keyed-alike options?+

Yes. Multiple doors on the same property can generally be keyed alike so a single key operates each entry.
