Products & Installation

How does Halo recommend the right product?+

Recommendations are based on the property, orientation, intended use, presentation and any relevant constraints. Where several options are suitable, Halo will explain the trade-offs.

Can products be customised to suit the property?+

Most products offer choices in size, configuration, finish and hardware. Fully custom work depends on the product range and supplier capability.

Do installation requirements vary between properties?+

Yes. Wall type, opening size, existing hardware, electrical access and structural considerations all affect installation. This is confirmed during the site assessment.

Are product colours and finishes available?+

Standard powder-coat ranges are available across most products. Architectural or custom finishes may be available depending on the supplier and lead time.

What can affect product lead times?+

Supplier stock, custom colours, non-standard sizes, seasonal demand and project scope can all affect lead times. Halo will confirm expected timing during quoting.

Will Halo remove existing products where required?+

Yes, where suitable. Removal and disposal of existing hardware can be included in the quotation.

CCTV & Cameras

Does Halo install CCTV?+

Yes. Residential and commercial camera systems are supplied and installed with sensible coverage of entries and approaches, reliable recording and remote viewing where supported by the selected system.

Can existing CCTV systems be upgraded?+

Often yes. Halo can assess an existing system and advise on component upgrades, additional cameras, replacement or full renewal, depending on the platform and its condition.

Is internet or network access required for CCTV?+

Remote viewing generally benefits from network access. Halo will confirm the requirements of the selected system during specification.

What CCTV storage and footage options are available?+

Recording is generally to a local recorder sized to the number of cameras and the retention you want. Halo will confirm realistic retention, image quality and remote-viewing options for the system specified.

Can Halo help with security doors and screens?+

Yes. Halo supplies and installs hinged and sliding security doors, security screen doors, security window screens and stainless-steel mesh systems, and can replace or upgrade existing security screens where suitable.

Can a pet door be added to a security screen?+

In suitable security screens and solid lower panels, yes. Halo fits pet doors with correct margins so the frame keeps its strength and the door still locks as designed.

Repairs & Maintenance

Can Halo repair security doors and screens installed by another business?+

Halo can assess suitable existing security doors and screens even where it was not the original installer. Any repair or rectification work is subject to inspection, product suitability and availability of suitable parts, and Halo does not assume responsibility for the original product, prior installation or pre-existing defects.

Can all damaged products be repaired?+

Not always. Some damage or wear is beyond economical repair, in which case Halo will explain replacement options.

Does Halo replace locks, mesh, rollers and hardware?+

Yes. Component replacements such as locks, mesh, rollers, motors and hardware are a common part of repair and servicing work.

Are commercial maintenance arrangements available?+

Yes. Scheduled maintenance can be arranged for commercial customers, subject to scope and site requirements.

What information should I provide for a repair enquiry?+

A description of the issue, photos where possible, product brand or model information, and any relevant site or access details all help.

Does Halo service and repair roller shutters?+

Roller shutter servicing and repairs are available subject to inspection and product suitability. Model compatibility and parts availability are confirmed before work proceeds.

Mobility & Accessibility

What types of independent-living improvements are available?+

Options may include handrails, step and threshold improvements, easier-to-operate door and window hardware and better entry lighting — practical improvements that support safer everyday movement, subject to site suitability.

Can security and accessibility be planned together?+

Yes. Halo can consider security, access and mobility improvements together so the property works well for the household as a whole.

Are easier-opening entry options available?+

Easier-opening doors, screens and hardware options are available where the property, structure and access requirements are suitable. These are confirmed during assessment, and are not NDIS-registered or regulated healthcare services.

Does every property suit the same accessibility solution?+

No. Suitability depends on structure, entry configuration, layout and the needs of the person using the property. Site assessment is important.

Can Halo work with families, support coordinators or property managers?+

Yes. Halo is happy to communicate with family members, support coordinators and property managers where appropriate.

Is a site assessment usually required?+

For mobility and accessibility work, an on-site assessment is typically required to confirm what will work well for the property and the person.
