Use this checklist to prepare a clear security-screen enquiry before you request a quote.
A useful security-screen enquiry starts with the doors and windows you want assessed. Note whether each opening is hinged, sliding or fixed, and whether you want a new installation, replacement or repair. Photos of the opening and existing hardware help explain what you need. Final suitability and measurements need confirmation before a product is specified.
Tell Halo whether your priorities include ventilation, visibility, privacy, pet access or easier everyday operation. These requirements should be considered together. If you are asking about pet-door integration or emergency escape screens, raise this at the enquiry stage so suitability can be assessed rather than assumed.
A product name or a photograph is not enough to compare two quotes. Ask which frame, infill or mesh, locking hardware, finish and installation work are included. If a compliance statement, warranty or corrosion-resistance claim matters to your decision, ask for the documentation for the exact product being quoted. Do not infer a rating or guarantee from a general description such as marine grade or security mesh.
For properties near the coast, explain the location and exposure of the openings. For repairs, describe damage, stiffness, worn hardware or problems closing and locking the screen. Ask the team to assess whether repair or replacement is appropriate. Avoid selecting a product on an unverified promise about service life.
Halo Security WA focuses on security doors and security screens. Supporting confirmed services include roller shutters, CCTV/security cameras and window tinting or film. If you are considering more than one service, describe the problem you want to solve for each opening or area so the team can advise on the relevant options. Gates, fabrication and air conditioning enquiries belong with the appropriate specialist Forgepoint brand.
Before accepting a quote, confirm the openings included, product details, colour or finish, removal of existing items where required, installation arrangements, exclusions, lead times and the applicable care and warranty documents. Ask about repair and ongoing support for the quoted product. Prices, timing and suitability should come from the written quote.
Include your suburb, preferred contact details, the approximate number of openings, photos where practical, and whether the enquiry concerns installation, replacement or repair. Mention access constraints, pet-door requirements or an opening that needs an escape-screen assessment. This gives the sales team a clearer starting point for follow-up.
